From June to September. The latest ones were painter Juan Miró in 2009, photographer Jean Loup Sieff in 2008, painter Alberto Giacometti in 2007, sculptor Michel Dauguet in 2006, sculptor Jean-Louis Toutain in 2005,  painter Miréio in 2004 and « Dali intime » in 2003
  • Fête de la Musique: National music day on the 21st June every year throughout the medieval town
  • Theatre Games Festival - One of the eldest theater festivals in France (since 1952): End of July to early August
  • National exhibition of Photographic art: In July and August
  • European Heritage Day: 3rd week-end in September. In the evening “Sarlat’s heritage beneath the stars”, for all members of the public
